Homemade salsa is a wonderful way to add a little bit of flavor to your cooking. It is easy to make, and can be used in a dip or just eaten with chips. Salsa can be a wonderful, healthy snack if made at home using great ingredients.

  • lime juice
  • 1 mango, chopped
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 6 jalapeno peppers, or to taste
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 tsp minced garlic

Preparation

  1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor.
  2. Blend the ingredients to a chunky texture.
  3. Empty into a sauce pan and heat to a low boil on medium heat, stirring frequently.
  4. Reduce heat, simmer for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool, and enjoy!
