Homemade Salsa Recipe

Ingredients
Base
- 2 14.5 oz cans of stewed tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbs fresh cilantro, chopped
Options
- lime juice
- 1 mango, chopped
- 1 can corn
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste
- 6 jalapeno peppers, or to taste
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 tsp minced garlic
Preparation
- Place all the ingredients in a food processor.
- Blend the ingredients to a chunky texture.
- Empty into a sauce pan and heat to a low boil on medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat, simmer for at least 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool, and enjoy!
